Two year olds at Kid's Kingdom have opportunities to develop in environments with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages life skills such as hand washing, self feeding, and toilet training. Child to adult ratios is low enough to allow for individual needs as well as the beginnings of group activities. Recognition for special vulnerabilities of these younger children and individual development of each child is emphasized. Weekly lesson plans and daily written communication for parents are furnished. Each child's daily experience with potty training is charted so parents may track their child's progress.

At this time we introduce the basic concepts behind the Core Knowledge curriculum such as making good choices, demonstrating proper manners, exposing children to story books rather than picture books, and encouraging creativity. Pre-literacy skills are strongly emphasized through songs, finger plays, poems, and nursery rhymes. Prayers and songs are integrated throughout the day.
